Hello and welcome back to NCBL week 2. We have exciting relegation battles going on Division 1 and the battles of 24 in Division 3. Now, let us head on to the Division 1 standings.
Division 1
Let’s talk about the relegation, after yesterday’s games. Hurricanes, Pegasus, Phantoms, UBSA and NGAP all felt the pressure being in the red zone. The bottom 2 teams of Division 1 will be relegated to Division 2 and 2 teams from Division 2 will be promoted.
Having played 7 games, UBSA needs some miracle to go against their next opponent, the former champions, Gostrong – to make it worse, this is their final game of the season.. But let us all have some hope, this is a game of basketball – anything can happen.
Other than UBSA, Phantoms are in their 7th game as well – their next opponent is none other than Pegasus who just defeated UBSA sending them into a better position. If Phantom get’s the L in next week’s game against Pegasus, they are very close to being relegated as well.
Okay, that’s all of it on relegations – now let’s talk about the games.
UBSA vs Pegasus (61-66)
It was an intense yet close game, the point difference was never more than 10 points. Being a team that had more veterans, Pegasus gave their best against this younger team. Pegasus managed to get the W with 66 to 61 and will be going against Phantoms next week.

Both Juggernaut and Titans Elite crushed their competitions with over 30 points. Placing Titans Elite on the top spot this week in the standings. Juggernaut wont the game by 81-47 and TItans Elite by 51-84.
Phantoms vs Bayang Gelap Kings (66-76)
After the aftermath of Bayang Gelap Kings, Phantoms’ current standing does not look optimistic at all. Phantoms came close to winning this game but Kings was sent to the freethrow line and made one shot. That shot sent the game to overtime.
Running low on resources Phantom had no choice but to play with their 7- man line up in the overtime. Kings took over the game and managed to win by 10 points.
Division 3
We are in the top 24 for Division 3 and here are the results for last week’s game.
