University Basketball League
The University Basketball League (UBL) began in 2007 with just 10 teams and had a steady growth to 36 teams in year 2020. It was previously known as Uni College Basketball League before revamping to its current name, in 2017.
The league has 2 divisions, the boys divisions and the girls divisions, where the teams consist of students from various private and public universities throughout Malaysia. The league games are played on weekends during the season’s period.
The event is sponsored by Gatorade Malaysia. The associate sponsors are Molten, Peak, Supersports, Baufiend, Backroll, and Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari.
